Temple Flow is a boutique studio with client-directed customisation options for every session you attend. Meaning, you can expect your preferences to be followed to a great extent about things like temperature, pressure, style, lighting level, music style and volume. You can experience both relaxation and processing , depending on what is relevant to you at the time. There is clear communication on how your safety and boundaries will be upheld, while also giving you space to experience yourself in a body-positive environment with physical and emotional resonance.
Your session is always delivered by the same practitioner, with great care to make each visit more a little more perfect.
There aren’t any other clients coming in or out, or waiting for their appointment. This calm setting creates an opportunity for you to be deeply present. -
Yes, I regularly offer 2 hour sessions. We can talk about how to do this at or after your first session.
-
At your first session, I will ask you what you would like to get out of the sessions in general, any injuries or other boundaries you may have around touch, and about pressure, starting direction and draping preferences.
This will take about 15 minutes, then I will take you to your room , adjust the room temperature, music and lighting to your liking and leave you to have a shower and breathe for a few minutes.
Please allocate an extra 30 minutes for your first massage. -
You are welcome to remove your clothes to your comfort level. As the type of full body massage I offer requires oil use, and it includes both the front and the back body, it’s recommended to remove all clothing. Your genitals will be draped with a sarong. If you prefer additional draping for your chest, hair, face or anywhere else, you are welcome to just ask.
-
Absolutely, you can have a shower before and or after your session. Unless you are coming right after having a shower elsewhere, I will ask you to have a shower before the start of your session.
-
If you were recently unwell please wait at least 7 days after your symptoms have completely disappeared. If you feel unwell on the day, please do not attend.

While you may find the massage and bodywork calming, comforting or transformative, it is not a remedial style and it is not designed to replace or support formal health care. I recommend you to see a general practitioner, physiotherapist or a myotherapist for any acute or chronic musculoskeletal health needs.

The studio has several air circulation modes, as well as temperature control and humidifiers to create a cocooning and lovely environment. The massage table is a high-load capacity, with non-porous finishing. Hot stones in use are non-porous basalt, and are regularly disinfected. Table and hard surfaces are cleaned with natural, hypoallergenic cleaning materials and air dried. All linen is washed with antibacterial detergent after each use and machine-dried.
I get vaccinated for covid and flu each year, and have been vaccinated for other common risks such as Hep A and MPox. -
